EDWIN ROCHE is a self taught artist who began painting seriously when he retired from a career in publishing and advertising. A "painterly realist", his work is influenced by such artists as Diego Velazquez and painters from the Golden Age of American Illustration such as Dean Cornwell and N.C. Wyeth.
His paintings have won awards in numerous juried shows and have been purchased by collectors in a dozen states. His studio is in an old mill in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
